question
Katsel Las Vegas Dharma Center is a branch of Katsel Monastery in Tibet. We are dedicated to the practice and study of Tibetan Buddhism as passed down through the Drikung Kagyu lineage. This lineage was established by Kyoba Jigten Sumgon (1143-1217) and has been passed down uninterupted from teacher to student ever since. Read more about the history of the lineage here. Our goal is to establish a place in Souther Nevada for study and practice. As the group grows and the foundations of stable practice are established we will invite lamas and masters for teachings and empowerments. Our spiritual director is excited about the potential for the Dharma to spread in our area and the benefits that it will bring to all sentient beings.
